Our Struggle

Our blood fertilised the crops
Our sweats irrigated the farmland
Our fingers weeded the land
Our teeth bore the ache
We planted but did not reap
We watered but did not harvest
We weeded but did not gather
We irrigated but did not get result
You came with your sweet words
While we did the works without pay
Rather you came with the tax
To multiply our tasks.
