Cease Fire
~soulPoet~
When fire loose;
Home no longer home
Market no longer market
Father covers son Shroud
Son covers father Shroud
When fire loose;
Robust spring births no green garments,
Falling winter births no baskets,
Red raindrops floods square.
Ceasefire,
Tell Biafran, tell Nnamdi Kanu.
No Arewa, no Oduduwa, no Biafra,
We're one family.
Ojukwu, Gowon,
Heroes of green land.
Their mottled years,
Their fight for justices,
After the rise and the collapse,
The success and the failure,
We remembering their vintages.
Ceasefire, tell Biafrans
We're one family.
