About me

Hello

I'mOlatuja Oloyede

A Writer and a Tech Enthusiast

As a creative content writer, I have written over 400 poems, published books for many international organizations mostly in the United States, United Kingdom and Columbia. You will find many of my personal works on creativearena.org.ng. I also design all kinds of websites at pocket friendly prices. My area of expertise includes, but not limited to business or company websites, blogs, e-commerce, portfolios, community websites, multi-level marketing platforms, and e-learning platforms. I have my client-base both within and outside the continent of Africa. I also provide hosting services, cheap domain registration and almost free web maintenance for web owners and designers. I love astronomy with a special interest in astrobiology. I am curious to know if life exists beyond our planet and what form it might be. I love swimming, cycling, playing open-world games and simulation games. I sing, play piano, flutes, drums and trumpet, each with different degree of mastery. My conviction of God and divinity is not stereotypical and therefore not subjective to questionable theocracies of dogmatic minds. Sometimes, I wish I was born a billion years from now. Maybe then, teleportation, telepathy, time travel and telekinetic energy will not be mere fantasies of pseudoscience but a normalized technology of the age. But will humans be around for that long? I am curious the sun might swell in fury as a giant star and raze the earth to vapor or contracts with dull flames into a dwarf star and the earth will sink in stoning ice forever. Unfortunately, we will be gone with our curiosities except only if the soul of man is truly indestructible. I am frail, fallible, and human. I prioritize love, and humanity. I wish we let animals thrive in their habitats without killing them (especially the harmless ones) for food. I am Olatuja Oloyede and below are links to my other websites.

Sweet little story !!!

father.jpg

Little girl and her father were crossing a
bridge. The father was kind of scared so
he asked his little daughter, “Sweetheart,
please hold my hand so that you don’t fall
into the river.” The little girl said, “No,
Dad. You hold my hand.” “What’s the
difference?” Asked the puzzled father.
“There’s a big difference,” replied the
little girl. “If I hold your hand and
something happens to me, chances are
that I may let your hand go. But if you
hold my hand, I know for sure that no
matter what happens, you will never let
my hand go.”

Bring Life in your Relationships NOW

relationships-life.jpg

While waiting to pick up a friend at the
airport in Portland, Oregon, I had one of
those life-changing experiences that you
hear other people talk about — the kind
that sneaks up on you unexpectedly. This
one occurred a mere two feet away from
me.

Straining to locate my friend among the
passengers deplaning through the jet
way, I noticed a man coming toward me
carrying two light bags. He stopped right
next to me to greet his family.

First he motioned to his youngest son
(maybe six years old) as he laid down his
bags. They gave each other a long, loving
hug. As they separated enough to look in
each other’s face, I heard the father say,
“It’s so good to see you, son. I missed you
so much!” His son smiled somewhat
shyly, averted his eyes and replied softly,
“Me, too, Dad!”

Then the man stood up, gazed in the
eyes of his oldest son (maybe nine or ten)
and while cupping his son’s face in his
hands said, “You’re already quite the
young man. I love you very much, Zach!”
They too hugged a most loving, tender
hug.

While this was happening, a baby girl
(perhaps one or one-and-a-half) was
squirming excitedly in her mother’s
arms, never once taking her little eyes
off the wonderful sight of her returning
father. The man said, “Hi, baby girl!” as
he gently took the child from her mother.
He quickly kissed her face all over and
then held her close to his chest while
rocking her from side to side. The little
girl instantly relaxed and simply laid her
head on his shoulder, motionless in pure
contentment.

After several moments, he handed his
daughter to his oldest son and declared,
“I’ve saved the best for last!” and
proceeded to give his wife the longest,
most passionate kiss I ever remember
seeing. He gazed into her eyes for
several seconds and then silently
mouthed. “I love you so much!” They
stared at each other’s eyes, beaming big
smiles at one another, while holding both
hands.

For an instant they reminded me of
newlyweds, but I knew by the age of
their kids that they couldn’t possibly be.
I puzzled about it for a moment then
realized how totally engrossed I was in
the wonderful display of unconditional
love not more than an arm’s length
away from me. I suddenly felt
uncomfortable, as if I was invading
something sacred, but was amazed to
hear my own voice nervously ask,
“Wow! How long have you two been
married?

“Been together fourteen years total,
married twelve of those.” he replied,
without breaking his gaze from his lovely
wife’s face. “Well then, how long have
you been away?” I asked. The man
finally turned and looked at me, still
beaming his joyous smile. “Two whole
days!”

Two days? I was stunned. By the
intensity of the greeting, I had assumed
he’d been gone for at least several weeks
– if not months. I know my expression
betrayed me.

I said almost offhandedly, hoping to end
my intrusion with some semblance of
grace (and to get back to searching for
my friend), “I hope my marriage is still
that passionate after twelve years!”
The man suddenly stopped smiling.
He looked me straight in the eye, and
with forcefulness that burned right into
my soul, he told me something that left
me a different person. He told me, “Don’t
hope, friend… decide!” Then he flashed
me his wonderful smile again, shook my
hand and said, “God bless!”

Listen to the sound of silence ~ Inspirational Stories to awaken…

silence-quotes.jpg There once was a farmer who discovered that he had lost his watch in the barn. It was no ordinary watch because it had sentimental value for him. After searching high and low among the hay for a long while; he gave up and enlisted the help of a group of children playing outside the barn. He promised them that the person who found it would be rewarded. Hearing this, the children hurried inside the barn, went through and around the entire stack of hay but still could not find the watch. Just when the farmer was about to give up looking for his watch, a little boy went up to him and asked to be given another chance. The farmer looked at him and thought, “Why not? After all, this kid looks sincere enough.” So the farmer sent the little boy back in the barn. After a while the little boy came out with the watch in his hand! The farmer was both happy and surprised and so he asked the boy how he succeeded where the rest had failed The boy replied, “I did nothing but sit on the ground and listen. In the silence, I heard the ticking of the watch and just looked for it in that direction.” Moral : A peaceful mind can think better than a worked up mind. Allow a few minutes of silence to your mind every day, and see, how sharply it helps you to set your life the way you expect it to be! ~ The soul always knows what to do to heal itself..The challenge is to silence the mind….

God, we don’t need you anymore

God was sitting in heaven one day when a scientist said to Him, “God, we don’t need you anymore. Science has finally figured out a way to create life out of nothing – in other words, we can now do what you did in the beginning. “Oh, is that so? Tell Me…” replies God. “Well,” says the scientist, “we can take dirt and form it into the likeness of you and breathe life into it, thus creating man.” “Well, that’s very interesting…show Me.” So the scientist bends down to the earth and starts to mold the soil into the shape of a man. “No, no, no…” interrupts God, “Get your own god-epiphany-300x240.png

True heartwarming inspirational story

neerja-bhanot.jpg

Do you know who she is…??
You may know Kareena, Katrina,
Madhuri and Sridevi, but I can
confidently say that 95% of Indians
would not know this brave lady.
Neerja Bhanot was the senior flight
purser on the ill-fated Pan Am Flight 73,
hijacked by four heavily armed terrorists
after it landed at Karachi at 5 am from
Mumbai. PA 73 was en route to
Frankfurt and onward to New York City.
Neerja alerted the cockpit crew about the
hijack and, as the plane was on the
tarmac, the three-member cockpit crew
of pilot, co-pilot and the flight engineer
were able to flee from the aircraft.
Neerja, being the most senior cabin crew
member on board, took charge.
The hijackers were part of the
Palestinian Abu Nidal terrorist
organization and were backed by Libya.
They immediately shot dead a passenger
who identified himself to the terrorists
as being an American. The terrorists
then instructed Neerja to get the
passports collected of all the passengers,
so that they could identify the
Americans. Neerja, and the other
attendants under her charge, hid the
passports of the 40 Americans on board.
After 17 hours, the hijackers opened fire
and set off explosives. Neerja opened the
emergency door and helped a number of
passengers escape. She did not herself
escape, and became a martyr while
shielding 3 children from a hail of
bullets. Neerja was recognised
internationally as “the heroine of the
hijack” and is the youngest recipient of
the Ashoka Chakra, India’s highest
civilian award for bravery.
A square called Neerja Bhanot Chowk is
named after her in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar
(East) suburb by the Mumbai Municipal
Corporation, which was inaugurated by
Amitabh Bachchan in the early 90′s.

Awesome reply from the CEO of JP Morgan Chase to a pretty girl’s questions

j-p-morgan.jpg

A young and pretty lady posted this on a
popular forum:
Title: What should I do to marry a rich
guy?

I’m going to be honest of what I’m going
to say here. I’m 25 this year. I’m very
pretty, have style and good taste. I wish
to marry a guy with $500k annual salary
or above. You might say that I’m greedy,
but an annual salary of $1M is
considered only as middle class in New
York My requirement is not high. Is
there anyone in this forum who has an
income of $500k annual salary? Are you
all married? I wanted to ask: what
should I do to marry rich persons like
you? Among those I’ve dated, the richest
is $250k annual income, and it seems
that this is my upper limit. If someone is
going to move into high cost residential
area on the west of New York city garden
(? ), $250k annual income is not enough.

I’m here humbly to ask a few questions:
1) Where do most rich bachelors hang
out? (Please list down the names and
addresses of bars, restaurant, gym) 2)
Which age group should I target? 3) Why
most wives of the riches is only average-
looking? I’ve met a few girls who doesn’t
have looks & are not interesting, but they
are able to marry rich guys 4) How do
you decide who can be your wife, & who
can only be your girlfriend? (my target
now is to get married)
Ms. Pretty

———————————————————————————

Awesome reply:
Dear Ms. Pretty,
I have read your post with great interest.
Guess there are lots of girls out there who
have similar questions like yours. Please
allow me to analyse your situation as a
professional investor. My annual income
is more than $500k, which meets your
requirement, so I hope everyone believes
that I’m not wasting time here. From the
standpoint of a business person, it is a
bad decision to marry you. The answer is
very simple, so let me explain. Put the
details aside, what you’re trying to do is
an exchange of “beauty” and “money”:
Person A provides beauty, and Person B
pays for it, fair and square. However,
there’s a deadly problem here, your
beauty will fade, but my money will not
be gone without any good reason. The
fact is, my income might increase from
year to year, but you can’t be prettier
year after year. Hence from the
viewpoint of economics, I am an
appreciation asset, and you are a
depreciation asset. It’s not just normal
depreciation, but exponential
depreciation. If that is your only asset,
your value will be much worried 10
years later.

By the terms we use in Wall Street, every
trading has a position, dating with you is
also a “trading position”. If the trade
value dropped we will sell it and it is not
a good idea to keep it for long term –
same goes with the marriage that you
wanted. It might be cruel to say this, but
in order to make a wiser decision any
assets with great depreciation value will
be sold or “leased”. Anyone with over
$500k annual income is not a fool; we
would only date you, but will not marry
you. I would advice that you forget
looking for any clues to marry a rich
guy. And by the way, you could make
yourself to become a rich person with
$500k annual income.. This has better
chance than finding a rich fool.
Hope this reply helps. If you are
interested in “leasing” services, do
contact me…

Awesome story;”Difference in Love and Marriage”

A student asks a teacher, “What is love?”

The teacher said, “in order to answer
your question, go to the wheat field and
choose the biggest wheat and
come back..

But the rule is: you can go through them
only once and cannot turn back to pick.”
The student went to the field, g0
through first row, he saw one big
wheat, but he wonders… may be there is
a bigger one later.

Then he saw another bigger one… But
may be there is an even bigger one
waiting for him.

Later, when he finished more than half
of the wheat field, he start to realize that
the wheat is not as big as the previous
one he saw, he know he has missed the
biggest one, and he regretted.
So, he ended up went back to the teacher
with empty hand.

The teacher told him, “this is love… You
keep looking for a better one, but when
later you realize, you have already miss
the person…”

“What is marriage then?” the student
asked.

The teacher said, “in order to answer
your question, go to the corn field and
choose the biggest corn and
come back. But the rule is: you can go
through them only once and cannot turn
back to pick.”

The student went to the corn field, this
time he is careful not to repeat the
previous mistake, when he reach the
middle of the field, he has picked one
medium corn that he feel satisfy, and
come back to the teacher.

The teacher told him, “This time you
bring back a corn. You look for one that
is just nice, and you have faith and
believe this is the best one you get… This
is marriage.”

The story of a woodcutter ,Author: Stephen Covey

the-story-of-a-woodcutter.jpg

Once upon a time, a very strong
woodcutter asked for a job in a timber
merchant and he got it. The pay was
really good and so was the work
condition. For those reasons, the
woodcutter was determined to do his
best.

His boss gave him an axe and showed
him the area where he supposed to work.
The first day, the woodcutter brought 18
trees.

“Congratulations,” the boss said. “Go on
that way!”

Very motivated by the boss words, the
woodcutter tried harder the next day,
but he could only bring 15 trees. The
third day he tried even harder, but he
could only bring 10 trees. Day after day
he was bringing less and less trees.

“I must be losing my strength”, the
woodcutter thought. He went to the boss
and apologized, saying that he could not
understand what was going on.
“When was the last time you sharpened
your axe?” the boss asked.

“Sharpen? I had no time to sharpen my
axe. I have been very busy trying to cut
trees…”

Reflection:
Our lives are like that. We sometimes get
so busy that we don’t take time to
sharpen the “axe”. In today’s world, it
seems that everyone is busier than ever,
but less happy that ever.

Why is that? Could it be that we have
forgotten how to stay “sharp”? There’s
nothing wrong with activity and hard
work. But we should not get so busy that
we neglect the truly important things in
life, like our personal life, taking time to
get close to our Creator, giving more time
for our family, taking time to read etc.
We all need time to relax, to think and
meditate, to learn and grow. If we don’t
take the time to sharpen the “axe”, we
will become dull and lose our
effectiveness.

Always Delay Judgement. A very worth file read!

always-delay-judgement.jpg A lovely little girl was holding two apples with both hands. Her mum came in and softly asked her little daughter with a smile: “my sweetie, could you give your mum one of your two apples?” The girl looked up at her mum for some seconds, then she suddenly took a quick bite on one apple, and then quickly on the other. The mum felt the smile on her face freeze. She tried hard not to reveal her disappointment. Then the little girl handed one of her bitten apples to her mum, and said: mummy, here you are. This is the sweeter one. No matter who you are, how experienced you are, and how knowledgeable you think you are, always delay judgement. Give others the privilege to explain themselves. What you see may not be the reality. Never conclude for others. Which is why we should never only focus on the surface and judge others without understanding them first. Those who like to pay the bill, do so not because they are loaded, but because they value friendship above money. Those who take the initiative at work, do so not because they are stupid but because they understand the concept of responsibility. Those who apologize first after a fight, do so not because they are wrong but because they value the people around them. Those who are willing to help you, do so not because they owe you any thing but because they see you as a true friend. Those who often text you, do so not because they have nothing better to do but because you are in their heart. One day, all of us will get separated from each other; we will miss our conversations of everything & nothing; the dreams that we had. Days will pass by, months, years, until this contact becomes rare… One day our children will see our pictures and ask “Who are these people? “And we will smile with invisible tears because a heart is touched with a strong word and you will say: “IT WAS THEM THAT I HAD THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE WITH”

The Secret of 60 Years of Marriage

the-secret-of-60-years-of.jpg There was once a man and woman who had been married for more than 60 years. They had shared everything. They had talked about everything. They kept no secrets from each other — except that the old woman had a shoe box in the top of her closet that she cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about. For all of these years, he had never thought about the box, but one day the little old woman got very sick and the doctor said she would not recover. In trying to sort out their affairs, the little old man took down the shoebox and took it to his wife’s bedside. She agreed that it was time that he should know what was in the box. When he opened it, he found two crocheted doilies and a stack of money totaling $25,000. “When we were to be married,” she said, explaining the contents of the box, “my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage was to never argue. She told me that if I ever got angry with you, I should just keep quiet and crochet a doily.” The little old man was so moved, he had to fight back tears. Only two precious doilies were in the box. She had only been angry with him two times in all those years of living and loving! He almost burst with happiness. “Honey,” he said “that explains the doilies, but what about all of this money? Where did it come from?” “Oh,” she said, “that’s the money I made from selling the doilies.”

GOD IS AT THE WINDOW

short-story-god-is-at-the.jpg

There was a
little boy visiting his grandparents on
their farm. He was given a slingshot to
play with out in the woods.

He practiced in the woods; but he could
never hit the target. Getting a little
discouraged, he headed back for
dinner… As he was walking back he saw
Grandma’s pet duck.

Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot
fly, hit the duck square in the head and
killed it. He was shocked and grieved! In
a panic, he hid the dead duck in the
wood pile; only to see his Sister
watching! Sally had seen it all, but she
said nothing. After lunch the next day
Grandma said, ‘Sally, let’s wash the
dishes’ But Sally said, ‘Grandma, Johnny
told me he wanted to help in the kitchen.

‘ Then she whispered to him, “Remember
the duck?’ So Johnny did the dishes.
Later that day, Grandpa asked if the
children wanted to go fishing and
Grandma said, ‘I’m sorry but I need
Sally to help make supper.’ Sally just
smiled and said, ‘well that’s all right
because Johnny told me he wanted to
help?

She whispered again, ‘Remember the
duck?’ So Sally went fishing and Johnny
stayed to help. After several days of
Johnny doing both his chores and Sally’s;
he Finally couldn’t stand it any longer.

He came to Grandma and confessed that
he had killed the duck.
Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug
and said, ‘Sweetheart, I know. You see, I
was standing at the window and I saw
the whole thing, but because I love you, I
forgave you. I was just wondering how
long you would let Sally make a slave of
you.’ Thought for the day and every day
thereafter:

Whatever is in your past, whatever you
have done…? And the devil keeps
throwing it up in your face (lying,
cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred,
anger, bitterness, etc…)…whatever it
is..You need to know that:
God was standing at the window and He
saw the whole thing. He has seen your
whole life… He wants you to know that
He loves you and that you are forgiven.

He’s just wondering how long you will let
the devil make a slave of you.. The great
thing about God is that when you ask for
forgiveness;

He not only forgives you, but He forgets.
It is by God’s grace and mercy that we
are saved. Go ahead and make the
difference in someone’s life today.
Share this with a friend and always
remember: God is at the window!

Meet Turia Pitt, this is an extraordinary woman you should know

meet-turia-pitt-this-is-a.jpg

Less than three years ago doctors said
the ultra-marathon runner wouldn’t live
to see another day after she was caught
in a bush fire and suffered burns to 65%
of her body.

Turia spent 864 days in hospital, went
through over a 100 surgeries and had
fingers amputated. Then the woman who
ran marathons had to learn to walk
again.

Turia is amazing, in the past six months
alone she rode her bike from Sydney to
Uluru, swam a 20 kilometre race in
Western Australia and walked the Great
Wall of China.

Turia is the ultimate survivor, and we
wish more magazines would be brave
enough to put her, and other people like
her that truly inspire, on their covers.

The Little Boy and his Invisible Friend

little-boy-thoughts-506f4.jpg

Somewhere in Milaor, Camarines Sur, there lived
a fourth grader boy who would follow this route
to school everyday: He has to cross the rugged
plains and cross the dangerous highway where
vehicles are recklessly driving to and from.

Once past this highway, the boy would take a
short cut, passing by the Church every morning
just to say Hi to God, and faithfully say his,
"Magandang umaga po" in Bicol dialect. He was
faithfully being watched by a Priest who was
happy to find innocence so uplifting in the
morning, "Kamusta, Andoy? Papasok ka na?"
"Opo padre."he would flash his innocent grin,
the priest would be touched. He was so
concerned that one day he talked to Andoy.

"From school", he advised "Do not cross the
highway, you can pass through the Church and I
can accompany you to the other side of the road
that way I can see that you are home safe"

"Thank you father"

"Why don't you go home why do you stay in this
church right after school?"

"I just want to say 'Hi' to my friend, God," and
the priest would leave the boy to spend time
beside the altar, talking to himself, but the priest
was hiding behind the altar to listen to what this
boy has to say to his heavenly FATHER.

"You know my math exam was pretty bad today,
but I did not cheat although my seatmate is
bullying me for notes. I ate one cracker and
drank my water, Itay had a bad season and all I
can eat is this cracker.

Thank you for this! I saw a poor kitten who was
hungry and I know how he feels so I gave my
last cracker to him. funny but I am not that
hungry.

Look, this is my last pair of slippers I may have
to walk barefoot next week, you see this is about
to be broken but it is okay at least I am still
going to school....

Some say we will have a hard season this
month, some of my classmates have already
stopped going to school please help them get to
school again, please God?

Oh, you know, Inay hit me again, it is painful, but
I know this pain will pass away, at least I still
have a mother God, you want to see my bruises?
I know you can heal them Here here and oh
blood I guess you knew about this one huh?
Please don't be mad at Inay, she is just tired
and she worries for the food in our table and my
schooling that is why she hits us Oh, I think I am
in love there's this pretty girl in my class, her
name is Anita do you think she will like me?
Anyway, at least I know you will always like me,
I don't have to be anybody just to please you,
you are my very best friend! Hey your birthday is
two days from now!!! Aren't you excited? I am!
Wait till you see, I have a gift for you . but it is a
surprise! I hope you will like it! Oooops, I have to
go"

then he stood up and calls out, "Padre,
padre, I am finished talking to my friend you can
accompany me to the other side of the road
now"

This routine happens everyday. Andoy never
fails. Father Agaton shares this every Sunday to
the people in his church because he has not
seen a very pure faith and trust in God, a very
positive look at negative situations.

One Christmas day, Father Agaton was sick so
he could not make it in the Church, he was sent
to the hospital. The Church was left to 4
manangs who would chant the rosary in 1000
miles per hour, would not smile and would
always find fault in what you do, they were also
very well versed in cursing if you irritate them!
They were kneeling, saying their kilometric rosary
when Andoy, coming from his Christmas
party,playfully dashed in.

"Hello God! I .." "P--!! (a curse) bata ka!! Alam
mo nang may nagdadasal!! Alis!!"
Poor Andoy was so terrified, "Where's Father
Agaton? He is supposed to help me cross the
street and to be able to cross the street I will
have to pass by the back door of this church not
only that, I have to greet Jesus. It is His
birthday, I have a gift right here" Just as he was
about to get the gift out of his shirt, the manang
pulled his shirt and threw him out of the church.

"Susmaryosep!!! (does the sign of the cross
fervently) Alis kang bata ka, kung hindi
matatamaan ka!!!
So the boy had no choice but to cross the
dangerous side of the road in front of the
church. He crossed. A fast moving bus came in.

There was a blind curve. The boy was protecting
his gift inside his shirt, so he was not looking.
There was so little time. Andoy died on the spot.
A lot of people crowded the poor boy, the body
of a lifeless young boy

Suddenly, out of nowhere a tall man in a pure
white shirt and pants, a face so mild and gentle,
but with eyes full of tears He came and carried
the boy in His arms. He was crying. Curious
bystanders nudged the man in white, and asked,
"Excuse me sir, are you related to this child?
Do you know this child?"

The man in white, His face mourning and in
agony, looked up and answered,
"He was my best friend. " was all he said. He
took the badly wrapped gift in the bloody chest
of the lifeless boy, and placed it near His heart.
He stood up and carried the boy away and they
both disappeared in sight.

The crowd was curious
On Christmas Eve, Father Agaton learned of the
shocking news. He visited the house, and wanted
to verify about the man in white. He consulted
the parents of Andoy.

"How did you know that your son died?"
"A man in white brought him here." sobbed the
mother. "What did he say?"

The father answered, "He did not say anything.
He was mourning. We do not know him and yet
he was very lonely about our son's death, as if
he knew our son very well. But there was
something peaceful and unexplainable about him.
He gave me my son, and then he smiled
peacefully. He brushed my son's hair away from
his face and kissed him on his forehead, then he
whispered something"
"What did he say?"

"He said to my boy" the father began, "Thank
you for the gift I will see you soon you will be
with me" and the father of the boy continued,
"and you know for a while, it felt so wonderful I
cried, but I do not know why all I know is I cried
tears of joy I could not explain it, Father, but
when that man left, something peaceful came
over me, I felt a deep sense of love inside I
could not explain the joy in my heart, I knew my
boy is in heaven now but tell me, Father, who is
this man that my son talks to everyday in your
church, you should know because you are always
there except at the time of his death "Father
Agaton suddenly felt the tears welling in his
eyes, with trembling knees, he murmured, "He
was talking to no one but .. GOD"

This project had bounced around for a while, incomplete and needed lots of help. My vision was captured and communicated precisely. Thank you for another great job
