About me

Hello

I'mOlatuja Oloyede

A Writer and a Tech Enthusiast

As a creative content writer, I have written over 400 poems, published books for many international organizations mostly in the United States, United Kingdom and Columbia. You will find many of my personal works on creativearena.org.ng. I also design all kinds of websites at pocket friendly prices. My area of expertise includes, but not limited to business or company websites, blogs, e-commerce, portfolios, community websites, multi-level marketing platforms, and e-learning platforms. I have my client-base both within and outside the continent of Africa. I also provide hosting services, cheap domain registration and almost free web maintenance for web owners and designers. I love astronomy with a special interest in astrobiology. I am curious to know if life exists beyond our planet and what form it might be. I love swimming, cycling, playing open-world games and simulation games. I sing, play piano, flutes, drums and trumpet, each with different degree of mastery. My conviction of God and divinity is not stereotypical and therefore not subjective to questionable theocracies of dogmatic minds. Sometimes, I wish I was born a billion years from now. Maybe then, teleportation, telepathy, time travel and telekinetic energy will not be mere fantasies of pseudoscience but a normalized technology of the age. But will humans be around for that long? I am curious the sun might swell in fury as a giant star and raze the earth to vapor or contracts with dull flames into a dwarf star and the earth will sink in stoning ice forever. Unfortunately, we will be gone with our curiosities except only if the soul of man is truly indestructible. I am frail, fallible, and human. I prioritize love, and humanity. I wish we let animals thrive in their habitats without killing them (especially the harmless ones) for food. I am Olatuja Oloyede and below are links to my other websites.

He Will See Us Through

Seas of sorrow, seas of trial, bitterest anguish, fiercest pain, rolling surges of temptation, sweeping over heart and brain. They shall never overflow us for we know His word is true. All His waves and all His billows. He will lead us safely through!

"Threatening breakers of destruction
Doubt's insidious undertow,
shall not pink us, shall not drag us
Out of ocean depth of Woe;
For His promise shall sustain us.
Praise the Lord, whose word is true.
We shall not go down or under
For He saith "Thou Passeth through" __ Johnson Flint.

Love to God

Through eternity to thee (GOD)
A joyful song will I raise
For oh! Eternity is too short
To utter all Thy Praise" Joseph Addison (emphasis mine)

Cross to Crown

"The cross is always the way to genuine crown. Death is the way to authentic power. Resurrection is always at the place and the point of burial. I need grace as well in my life to maximize all the opportunity for death to work in me such that Christ's very life might be made manifest in me and that it might flow freely to men." __Gbile Akanni.

Letter to my Future First Child by Oloyede

A Letter to My Future First Child.

Hello my young one,

You seems to enjoy the bliss of the yonder realm so much that I saw you yestermight running in the lawn of the sky. Let my words sail to you in the yacht of silence, in the chariot of thoughts, and in the mystery of the wind. I know your world is beautiful, so also is mine, just that not many would believe here that you will see or even read this letter. Such is the shallowness of our world for we dwell in the mockery of many impossibilities.

However, I'm writing to hint you about mortality and humanity. You see, at this side of eternity, some tears never dry, some broken hearts never mend, some pains never end, some beasts never die. Many homes are ruined, many dreams are shattered, people's hope battered, and joy lynched. Such is the way our world is made and somethings are just like that. The natural beast in man is capable of evils beyond the comprehension of angels and the predictions of the groits. So dear, when you come over here, don't be perplexed to see many nations engulfed in the untamable flame of confusion and selfish individual bound for a catastrophic end.

Nevertheless, I've emancipated myself from the chasm of bondage humanity is plunged into. 've got ma comfort in da King of creation, the ruler of the great generalismo.

Yes,yes, I admit that sometimes I'm scared of the sun going down the western slope. I wonder too about what lies behind the sepulchre and in the darkness of the abyss of death. But I know for sure, the Master of Mystery will keep me safe and those who trust him through many storms in the hollow of his mighty wings.

Child!

My child, being around for a while, life has taught me a great lesion which you must know aforehand. All our fears, worries, and anxieties are nothing but shadows. They are giant mountains created in the heart by reflections as the sun produces shadows beneath the market tree. But they are mirage that appears real in the distance but vanishes if you dare to defy all doubts and advance.

So dear, fears, tears, worries, and sometimes even failures may cause man endless sorrow, they are the priceless ornaments with which time is adorned. They are the esteem jewels that beautifies our world making the frail stronger, the heart tougher, and the soul brighter reminding us we need God and we need one another.

So to my hero child, I carve for you a path of bravery that defects storms and buffeting wind. Climb the mountains, cross the rivers, saunter in the wood. Conquer the land, conquer the sea, for yours is a noble birth.

Yours Committedly, Emmanuel.

Yes I Know

YES I KNOW!

When in a dream the accurser of the brethren confronted Martin Luther with a daunting list of his sins, he penitently owned them up as his. Then turning to his accuser, he said, "yes, they are all mine, but write across them all 'The blood of Jesus, is Son, purify us from all sin.'" (1 John 1: 7)

I hear the Accuser roar of evils I have done I know them all, and thousand more Jehovah findeth none. (Osward Sanders)

And I know, yes I know, Jesus blood can make the vilest sinner clean.

For richer blood as flown from nobler vein.

JESUS DIED FOR THE SIN OF THE WHOLE WORLD. The worst of it can be forgiven. A new life and a new hope he offers you today. The amazing experience of salvation can begin with just a bow of the head and an invitation to the Master to come into your heart. If you are not sure of eternity, please, make sure now because sooner or later, we shall be going home.

A Letter to my Future Wife

life-lab-love-languages.jpg

A Letter to My Future Wife.

Hello love,

To my future love anywhere you are, I write the throbbings of a wondering heart. Do you remember several years back when we were about making our entrance into this world? We sat in the sand of a beach in heaven watching the parabola ecstasy of the dolphins in the tides of that crystal sea. That was where I told you I will soon be leaving heaven for earth. I saw those clouds gathered in your eyes as I break the "bad" news but you couldn't stop me, my mind was made up. But you also said you're gonna join me here if I didn't change my mind and eventually leave heaven. But that was the last time we saw because I checked out of heaven that very evening.

It took me nine months to get here and journey was pretty cool. However, right there in the darkness of my mother's womb, I couldn't write you any letter and I also forgot you and my heavenly home. Was preoccupied with what the world really look like. Nevertheless, the strangeness of this side of eternity pierces my heart at first sight and I gave my first infant cry. Got busy with ascending the socio-economic but culturally constructed ladder and I soon forgot all about you and the beautiful life we once shared in the azure realm above. Yeah, I'm sorry I did.

Now, I'm beginning to think that someday, I might need to find you. Anywhere you are, maybe a million miles away or more, as you read this through your mind, just be fine. You've always promised me in heaven to be fine, right? Just calm down, give a sigh of relief and look into the thin lines of your heart, there lies the unseen volumes of my love written in endless pages. Look into the vastness of the sky, try count the stars. If you can't, come with me then to the sea, count every single grain of sand in the beach. If you still can't count, come with me to the field and count every single blade of grass but if you can't count, then you can't count the measure of my love for you. But stay where you are, you know I will find you somehow, someway somewhere someday. It may be years and many years from now but we promised to meet at the crossroad where we shall never part again. But till then, take good care of yourself.

Yours faithfully, Sapient

Moving from Homosexuality to Holiness___ Testimony of Tammy Webb-Witholt

compromising-199x300.jpg

Twenty years ago, Tammy moved out of a lesbian lifestyle into a walk with God. Today she is ministering to people struggling with homosexuality and to churches who want to minister to these individuals. This week we will consider some of the lessons Tammy has learned along her journey with God. . "One of the first things I learned," began Tammy, "was that the love of my life that I had searched for so diligently could only be found in a personal relationship with Jesus. . "During my eight years in the gay world, my quest for security and lasting love became an endless cycle of relationships that I hoped would bring healing and perfect love. I proudly displayed my gay relationships to the world, but not one relationship filled the void that remained in my heart. . "Early one morning after leaving a party, I realized I had been looking in all the wrong places for love and security. When I called out to God, it seemed as though a dam broke in my heart. I confessed my sins and told God that I needed him, but he should not get his hopes up because I could not change who I was. I promised to do two things: read the Bible and attend church once a week. . "Though this was a small step toward God, he—like the father in the story of the prodigal son—ran toward me with open arms. And so began my journey from homosexuality to holiness. Along that journey, I have learned beyond a doubt that there is only one place of complete love and security—Jesus." Tammy continues her testimony: "When I first made a commitment to serve Jesus, I promised to read the Bible and attend church once a week. My intention was to read scripture with an analytical eye, but soon the words came to life and penetrated my heart. I was confronted with God's love and his call to obedience. Though I tried, I could not make the Bible say what I wanted it to say. I prayed, 'OK, God, I still feel like a homosexual. I don't know how to follow you in obedience. But even with my questions and my confusion, I'll leave it all. . "When I first came to Christ, I was obstinate and resistant to God's will. Buthis grace stood patiently, hands extended in mercy and arms open wide in love. Now, with his help, I was ready to take a very difficult step of obedience. . "That evening I ended the relationship I was in. My partner responded to mydeclaration by saying, 'You can't get out of this; no one ever gets out.' Herwords seemed like the words of a drug dealer, not a friend." . "Help me, God," I prayed. And he did. Tammy's testimony continues: "One big lesson I've learned is that the Word of God is clear about obedience and how it relates to the Christian walk. Obedience is not optional. In a world that claims no authoritative truth, we must resolve to accept the Word of God as authority in our lives. . "For a long time, my attitude kept me from obeying God. 'I deserve a lovingrelationship,' I rationalized. 'If this is not permissible, then why do I feelgay? I never asked to be attracted to others of the same sex.' I felt as though the God who was seemingly absent in my childhood was now demanding more than I could give. My anger fueled my disobedience and, in my mind, justified my rebellion. . "As I opened my heart to God, I recognized my rebellion for what it was. God's call for obedience ceases to be a list of unattainable rules when we realize it is the request of a loving heavenly father inviting us to trust him. He has a plan for my life that exceeds my own, and I can trust him because his love has no limits." ** Are you looking in wrong places for love and security? Perhaps you too are struggling with homosexuality. Or maybe you are looking for love and security in an unhealthy heterosexual relationship, or in striving to be a people pleaser. Tammy discovered that Jesus is the only place to find total love and security. And as she came to him in total honesty and repentance, he ran toward her with open arms. His open arms of love are waiting for you as well. ** Tammy couldn't experience the power of God's Word until she moved beyond reading it to living it. Then God gave her the strength to make some very difficult choices to walk in obedience. . Are you struggling with a problem, doing some things you know you shouldn't, but just aren't strong enough to do what you know is right? Ask God to make his Word real to you. And determine in your heart that you will obey him. Once you make that choice and run to him, you will experience his love, his grace and his power in an all new way. ** Is there an area of rebellion in your life? Ask God to help you trust him withevery part of your life. Choose to do things his way and begin to live "a lifeenergetic and blazing with holiness." . As you study the Bible and pray, discover as Tammy did that God's ways really are the best ways. That he is your loving heavenly Father and is inviting you to trust him. Just as he had a plan for Tammy's life, he has one for yours. You can trust him because his love has no limits.

WAIT - Why HE wants me to wait? - Author Unknown

wait.jpg Desperately, helplessly, longingly, I cried: Quietly, patiently, lovingly God replied. I pled and I wept for a clue to my fate, And the Master so gently said, “Child, you must wait”. “Wait? You say, wait! ” my indignant reply. “Lord, I need answers, I need to know why! Is your hand shortened? Or have you not heard? By Faith, I have asked, and am claiming your Word. My future and all to which I can relate hangs in the balance, and YOU tell me to WAIT? I’m needing a ‘yes’, a go-ahead sign, or even a ‘no’ to which I can resign. And Lord, You promised that if we believe we need but to ask, and we shall receive. And Lord, I’ve been asking, and this is my cry: I’m weary of asking! I need a reply! Then quietly, softly, I learned of my fate As my Master replied once again, “You must wait.” So, I slumped in my chair, defeated and taut and grumbled to God, “So, I’m waiting…. for what?” He seemed, then, to kneel, and His eyes wept with mine, And he tenderly said, “I could give you a sign. I could shake the heavens, and darken the sun. I could raise the dead, and cause mountains to run. All you seek, I could give, and pleased you would be. You would have what you want But, you wouldn’t know Me. You’d not know the depth of My love for each saint; You’d not know the power that I give to the faint; You’d not learn to see through the clouds of despair; You’d not learn to trust just by knowing I’m there; You’d not know the joy of resting in Me When darkness and silence were all you could see. You’d never experience that fullness of love As the peace of My Spirit descends like a dove; You’d know that I give and I save…. (for a start), But you’d not know the depth of the beat of My heart. The glow of My comfort late into the night, The faith that I give when you walk without sight, The depth that’s beyond getting just what you asked Of an infinite God, who makes what you have LAST. You’d never know, should your pain quickly flee, What it means that “My grace is sufficient for Thee.” Yes, your dreams for your loved one overnight would come true, But, Oh, the Loss! If I lost what I’m doing in you! So, be silent, My Child, and in time you will see That the greatest of gifts is to get to know Me. And though oft’ may My answers seem terribly late, My most precious answer of all is still, “WAIT.

Don’t Forget To Smile - Author Unknown

dontforgettosmile.jpg A little girl walked to and from school daily. Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to the elementary school. As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with thunder and lightning. The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school and she herself feared that the electrical storm might harm her child. Following the roar of thunder, lightning, like a flaming sword, would cut through the sky. Full of concern, the mother quickly got into her car and drove along the route to her child’s school. As she did so, she saw her little girl walking along, but at each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up and smile. Another and another were to follow quickly and with each the little girl would look at the streak of light and smile. When the mother’s car drove up beside the child she lowered the window and called to her. “What are you doing? Why do you keep stopping?” The child answered, “I am trying to look pretty, God keeps taking my picture.” May God bless you today as you face the storms that come your way. And don’t forget to SMILE then

I Don't Believe God Exist

atheistandachristian.jpg An Atheist and a Christian were hiking up a mountain; they came upon a large rock and decided to rest. While there, they talked about their jobs, families, and how good it was to enjoy nature. Their conversation then drifted toward the supernatural. “I do not believe in God because there is no proof of his existence,” said the Atheist. The Christian did not immediately respond, but instead gazed upon the tall pines and blue sky above him. “No,” said the Christian, “we cannot actually see, hear, or touch God, but we can know that God exists since we can see the results of His work.” The Christian continued, “Think of all the magnificent things we saw today… grand mountains, hundred of varieties of trees, flowers, insects, birds… and even you and I! There is beauty in all these things; they are good.” The Atheist replied, “Yes, nature is definitely awesome, but I believe this all came about by chance.” Again, the Christian peered at the billowy clouds above him, then asked, “We cannot see air, can we? We know that it exists because we see the effects of air. We see the trees sway and leaves rustle, but we do not actually see air nor wind. The effects of God are all around. We just have to take the time to look.” Without another word, the Atheist and Christian continued their long journey up the mountain. An Atheist and a Christian - Author Unknown

Student and His Professor : Its More Blessed To Give Than To Receive - Author Unknown

youreapwhatyousow.jpg A young man, a student in one of our universities, was one day taking a walk with a professor, who was commonly called the students’ friend, from his kindness to those who waited on his instructions. As they went along, they saw lying in the path a pair of old shoes, which they supposed to belong to a poor man who was employed in a field close by, and who had nearly finished his day’s work. The student turned to the professor, saying: “Let us play the man a trick: we will hide his shoes, and conceal ourselves behind those bushes, and wait to see his perplexity when he cannot find them.” “My young friend,” answered the professor, “we should never amuse ourselves at the expense of the poor. But you are rich, and may give yourself a much greater pleasure by means of the poor man. Put a coin into each shoe, and then we will hide ourselves and watch how the discovery affects him.” The student did so, and they both placed themselves behind the bushes close by. The poor man soon finished his work, and came across the field to the path where he had left his coat and shoes. While putting on his coat he slipped his foot into one of his shoes; but feeling something hard, he stooped down to feel what it was, and found the coin. Astonishment and wonder were seen upon his countenance. He gazed upon the coin, turned it round, and looked at it again and again. He then looked around him on all sides, but no person was to be seen. He now put the money into his pocket, and proceeded to put on the other shoe; but his surprise was doubled on finding the other coin. His feelings overcame him; he fell upon his knees, looked up to heaven and uttered aloud a fervent thanksgiving, in which he spoke of his wife, sick and helpless, and his children without bread, whom the timely bounty, from some unknown hand, would save from perishing. The student stood there deeply affected, and his eyes filled with tears. “Now,” said the professor, “are you not much better pleased than if you had played your intended trick?” The youth replied, “You have taught me a lesson which I will never forget. I feel now the truth of those words, which I never understood before:‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” Student and His Professor : Its More Blessed To Give Than To Receive - Author Unknown

Problems Big as the Shadows or not - Author Unknown

When you look closely, you can see that the camels are the little white lines in the picture. The black images you see are just the shadows! A Touching Story - Author Unknown

story.jpg A few years ago at the Seattle Special Olympics, nine contestants, all physically or mentally disabled, assembled at the starting line for the 100 yard dash. At the gun, they all started out, not exactly in a dash, but with a relish to run the race to the finish and win. All, that is, except one boy who stumbled on the asphalt, tumbled over a couple of times and began to cry. The other eight heard the boy. They slowed down and looked back. They all turned around and went back. Every one of them. One girl with Down's Syndrome bent down and kissed him and said,"This will make it better." All nine linked arms and walked across the finish line together. Everyone in the stadium stood, and the cheering went on for several minutes. People who were there are still telling the story. Why? Because deep down we know one thing. What matters most in this life is more than winning for ourselves. What truly matters in this life is helping others win, even if it means slowing down and changing our course

Aesop : If you keep a bow always bent, it will break eventually

bowandarrow.jpg According to a Greek legend, in ancient Athens a man noticed the great storyteller Aesop playing childish games with some little boys. He laughed and jeered at Aesop, asking him why he wasted his time in such frivolous activity. "Aesop responded by picking up a bow, loosening its string, and placing it on the ground. Then he said to the critical Athenian, 'Now, answer the riddle, if you can. Tell us what the unstrung bows imply.' "The man looked at it for several moments but had no idea what point Aesop was trying to make. Aesop explained, 'If you keep a bow always bent, it will break eventually; but if you let it go slack, it will be more fit for use when you want it.' So many of us today, including me, are bogged down with being too busy. Much of life seems to be controlled by the tyranny of the urgent—unforeseen crises or needs that daily pop up unexpectedly—all of which are a vivid reminder that I, too, need to "come apart and rest a while—before I come apart." Even Jesus and his disciples, in the midst of their busy ministry, needed to take time out to get some rest. Dare we do less? There are times when we, too, need to loosen the bow

THE GREAT RESERVOIR

thegreatreservoir.jpg The Great Reservoir On February 21, 1858, Charles Spurgeon gave a sermon that he entitled “The Great Reservoir” in which he preached through Proverbs 4:23 – “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” The metaphor he uses to describe the heart throughout his talk is that of a water reservoir. When it is impure, empty, or divided it does not provide proper nourishment for life. One piece of the sermon in particular was especially meaningful to me – when Spurgeon gives the formula for keeping the heart pure. I have shared it below. Ah! Christian keep thy heart pure. Thou sayest, “How can I do this?” Well, there was of old a stream of Marah, to which the thirsty pilgrims in the desert came to drink; and when they came to taste of it, it was so brackish that though their tongues were like torches, and the roofs of their mouths were parched with heat, yet they could not drink of that bitter water. Do you remember the remedy which Moses prescribed? It is the remedy which we prescribe to you this morning. He took a certain tree, and he cast it into the waters, and they became sweet and clear. Your heart is by nature like Marah’s water, bitter and impure. There is a certain tree, you know its name, that tree on which the Saviour hung, the cross. Take that tree, put it into your heart, and though it were even more impure than it is, that sweet cross, applied by the Holy Spirit, would soon transform it into its own nature, and make it pure. Christ Jesus in the heart is the sweet purification. He is made unto us sanctification. Elijah cast salt into the waters; but we must cast the blood of Jesus there. Once let us know and love Jesus, once let his cross become the object of our adoration and the theme of our delight, the heart will beam its cleansing, and the life will become pure also. Oh! that we all did learn the sacred lesson of fixing the cross in the heart! Christian man! love thy Saviour more; cry to the Holy Spirit that thou mayest have more affection for Jesus; and then, how ever gainful may be thy sin, thou wilt say with the poet, “Now for the love I bear his name, What was my gain I count my loss; My former pride I call my shame, And nail my glory to his cross.” The cross in the heart is the purifier of the soul; it purges and it cleanses the chambers of the mind. Christian! keep thy heart pure, “for out of it are the issues of life.” --From " http://exithymn.wordp ress.com/..." Desire Muhireshared this story 'The Great Reservoir' on Christian stories.
